​Professor Volga graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1993.

She got her Master of Science degree in 1997 and PhD degree in 2001 from Hacettepe University, Institute of Health Sciences, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. 

She worked as an observer in the University of Eastern Washington, Seattle, USA for two months in the year 2000. 

She got her associate professor degree in 2004 and professor degree in 2011. 

She is a charter member and co-president​ of the Sports Physiotherapy Association. 

She is also the coordinator of ERASMUS and FARABI programs of the Faculty of Health Sciences. 

She still continues her clinical studies at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Sports Physiotherapy Unit.
