Dr. Khalil is an associate member of the European Huntington's Disease Network (EHDN)-Physiotherapy Working Group, a member of the International Movement Disorders Society (MDS) as well as a member of the Association of Physiotherapists in Parkinson's disease Europe (APPDE). Dr. Khalil currently acts as the chair of the curriculum committee at the department of rehabilitation sciences- JUST and as the dean assisstant of faculty of appllied medical sciences-JUST.
PhD in physical therapy from Cardiff University.
Her main research interests are Neurological rehabilitation of Neurodegenerative diseases; their impacts on mobility outcomes and health-related quality of life with special focus on finding strategies to promote engagement in independent exercise programmes in these populations.
