About Me

From 2004 she was a Senior Lecturer at SLT Department in the subjects of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). 

From 1986 SLT in private practice – AAC .1985 – 2004: SLT at League Foundation - AAC, Lisbon. 

She has participated in several Portuguese and International Projects in ACC. 

Luísa​ is the Portuguese coordinator for cultural and linguistic validation of the Social Networks – A communication inventory for individuals with complex commnunication needs and their communications partners (Blackstone & Berg, 2012). 

She currently is a lecturer at the first SLT course in Mozambique.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy (Health School at Alcoitão).​
  • ​Master in Speech Sciences (Catholic University of Lisbon).
