Tiago is a Physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a Principal Lecturer at ESSA, teaching in the Musculoskeletal department. 

His main topics of interest and teaching are related to topics of pain, Neurodynamics, Dynamic stability training and clinical reasoning in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

He is involved in the process of developing the Master in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, at ESSA. 

For the past 9 years, Tiago gained Clinical practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with more emphasis on the treatment of chronic pain patients. 

He was an Invited teacher in ISCISA, Mozambique in 2009 in the topics of Pain issues and Musculoskeletal assessment in Physiotherapy. 

Tiago has participated and lectured in different International programs associated with the topics "Long Life Learning" and "Informal Care in health systems". NOI Group certified in "Neurodynamics and the Neuromatrix ", in Dublin.
