Dr. Almeida is responsible for the Neurology programme and is the main teacher in the areas of neurology, clinical reasoning and evidence based practice.
She developed and coordinated a master in Neurorehabilitation.
The last 6 years, she coordinated the physiotherapy department. In that position, she has gained experience with education management and implemented several curriculum development.
The last ten years, she was involved in a lot of international projects, teaching and developing a variety of international programmes in both Europe and Africa.
Dr. Patricia is mainly related with education and rehabilitation centres reorganisation.
PhD in researching evidence of physiotherapy in Neurorehabilitation within the ICF framework and on brain activity and manual facilitation.
