General Information About the Program:
Our interdisciplinary clinical master program in Rehabilitation Sciences (JUST-CRS) provides opportunities for Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deepen their knowledge and skills in various specialized areas of clinical rehabilitation settings. The master's program additionally prepares professionals to possess leadership role in rehabilitation services through combination of courses, clinical internship, and practice-based research project. This program is a two-year program entirely provided on full-time basis. Courses will emphasize on advanced professional skills and research. Graduates will acquire the degree of Master in Clinical Rehabilitation Sciences in interdisciplinary clinical rehabilitation.
Profile of the Program:
JUST-CRS Master's Program is an European Erasmus+ funded project. The program emphasizesInterdisciplinary Clinical Rehabilitation Sciences for physical and occupational therapy. The program consists of 2 years (4 semesters minimum). The student has to complete 36 credit hours (which is equivalent to 120 ECTS in Europe). The program consists of 12 credit hours of compulsory courses, 15 credit hours of elective courses, and 9 credit hours for thesis. The student can select from two main thematic tracks; orthopedic and neurological.

Provisions for Registration
- To have a bachelor degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an institution accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education with at least a GPA of "Good"
- To have at least one year of academic or clinical experience in relevant area of rehabilitation.
- To pass the personal interview
- To provide solid personal statement letter with an identified research interest
- To provide two recommendation letters
- Applicants to fulfill the application requirements according to the regulations of the School of Graduate Studies at JUST.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations:
JUST-CRS Master's Program in Interdisciplinary Clinical Rehabilitation Sciences consists of 2 years (4 semesters minimum). According to the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan, the program will use the Credit Hour-System. The student should pass 36 Credit Hours (which is equivalent to 120 ECTS in Europe).
The program consists of 12 Credit Hours of compulsory courses, 15 Credit Hours of elective courses, and 9 Credit Hours for thesis. The student can select from main thematic tracks; orthopedic and neurological tracks. Each student is required to complete certain Credit Hours of clinical training in one of the designated sites. Assignment of training sites will depend on vacancies and visa (if training is outside Jordan). The 1st and 2nd semesters of the program will cover the theory and pre-clinical courses; whereas the 3rd semester will be allocated for clinical training and the 4th semester will be designated to complete the thesis work.
The training sites are: 1. Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. 2. Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK. 3. ESSA University, Lesbian, Portugal. 4. King Abdullah University Teaching Hospital, Irbid, Jordan.
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning:
Applicants willing to enroll in the program must have a bachelor's degree in either Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from a Jordanian university or an international equivalent degree from accredited university by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education.
This master- based program is starting as a European Erasmus+ funded project, the program is expected to be highly competitive. Only highly qualified applicants will be considered. Students will have to fulfill all JUST requirements for enrollment in Master level degrees and "grant-specific" requirements, including passing an "enrollment interview".

To prepare specialists in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at national and international level who can;

- Advocate the profession of rehabilitation in Jordan and the middle east countries

Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples:
Graduates of JUST-CRS will gain higher-level skills and knowledge that will enable them to effectively evaluate patients, write autonomously comprehensive treatment plans, and monitor rehabilitation process outcomes. Additionally, graduates will gain a higher-level of skills and knowledge in interdisciplinary rehabilitation consistent with national and international standards. Graduates will be equipped with specialized advanced clinical skills in selected areas including neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. Graduates will be able to design and conduct rigorous clinical research studies serving the Jordanian and Middle Eastern communities. Graduates will professionally lead OT and PT undergraduate clinical training and improving rehabilitation services at their various workplaces. Thus, it is expected that the program will improve graduates' employability in various settings including academia (i.e. universities and research centers), hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community based rehabilitation, and sport and other specialty clinics. Also, the program will prepare students to pursue a PhD degree.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The final grade in each class is 100 points.The passing grade for each course is 70% while the student should maintain a minimum GPA of 75%. Otherwise, the student will comply with the academic regulations at JUST. Method of assessment will differ from course to another and will be determined based on the learning outcomes of each course.
Graduation Requirements:
For graduating from this program, the student must successfully complete the required 36 credit hours. Successful completion is by achieving a score of at least 70/100 (at least 2.50 out of 4.00) while maintaining a GPA of 75/100 (at least 3.00 of 4.00). Additionally, the student must successfully complete the required clinical internships (2222 credit hours) and thesis defense (9 credit hours).
